Espace Air Passion, Aviation museum at Angers Loire Airport, France
The exhibition space spans 3,500 square meters and houses a collection of 150 aircraft, with 20 machines maintained in flying condition.
In 1981, pilot Christian Ravel established the museum by founding the Groupement pour la préservation du patrimoine aéronautique to protect French aviation heritage.
Engineers and aviation students gain practical knowledge through partnerships with the museum, working alongside experienced professionals in aircraft restoration.
The museum opens from Tuesday to Sunday between 14:00 and 18:00, with guided tours available to explain the technical aspects of aircraft maintenance.
Visitors can observe restoration processes in real time as skilled volunteers work on historical aircraft in dedicated workshops within the museum space.
