Théâtre de la Huchette, Small theatre in Latin Quarter, Paris, France

The Théâtre de la Huchette operates in an 85-seat venue at 23 rue de la Huchette, near Place Saint-Michel in central Paris.

Georges Vitaly and Marcel Pinard established the theatre in 1948, starting with the production of Albertina by Valentino Bompiani on April 26.

The theatre maintains daily performances of Eugene Ionesco's plays The Bald Soprano and The Lesson, which have been running continuously since 1957.

Performances occur daily with tickets ranging from 15 to 32 euros, and the box office opens from late afternoon until evening hours.

The venue holds the Guinness World Record for the longest-running theatre show in the same location, surpassing 18,000 performances of Ionesco's works.
