This wooden church features architecture influenced by Saint Petersburg religious buildings, with a copper onion dome topped by an Orthodox cross.
Russian workers from the Normandy Metallurgical Company built this church in 1926, partially funded by their employer following a Russian colonel's plans.
Painters Fostov and Khvostov created the interior icons of the church, which includes a Russian literature library within its grounds.
Religious services take place every Sunday at 10:30 AM and Saturday evening at 6:00 PM, with liturgy in French using traditional Russian melodies.
This church stands as the only Orthodox religious building in western France, registered as a historical monument since 1992.
