Courcy Castle

Château de Courcy is a classical castle near Fontenay-sur-Mer built with the refined proportions and symmetry typical of 17th-century French design. The building features reception rooms with large windows and open views over the surrounding landscape and toward the coast.

The castle was rebuilt between 1658 and 1663 under Guillaume Le Berceur, following the architectural principles of the Louis XIII period. This reconstruction established it as an example of the classical French design favored at that time.
