Eightercua, Megalithic tomb in County Kerry, Ireland

Four tall standing stones form an alignment stretching twenty-five feet in an east-west direction, with the highest stone reaching nine feet.

The archaeological site dates back to approximately 1700 BC and contains remnants of an ancient enclosure and possible burial chamber.

Local tradition identifies this location as the final resting place of Scéine, wife of Amergin mac Míled, who led the Milesian invasion of Ireland.

The stone alignment sits 1.5 kilometers south of Waterville village, with parking available at a nearby layby for easier access to the site.

The stone arrangement aligns with the September equinox, demonstrating the advanced astronomical knowledge of ancient Irish builders.
