St. Michael's Priory, Ballinskelligs

St. Michael's Priory consists of stone remains from a medieval religious complex situated roughly 400 meters south of Ballinskelligs Beach. The ruins display architectural features typical of the period, with several building foundations visible across the site.

Augustinian canons established this priory after leaving their earlier settlement on Skellig Michael in the 12th century. The complex grew to become a significant religious center that underwent various changes over the centuries.
