Irish Music Hall of Fame, Music exhibition center in Middle Abbey Street, Dublin, Ireland

The Irish Music Hall of Fame was an exhibition center on Middle Abbey Street showcasing memorabilia, instruments, and artifacts from major Irish musicians. The collection featured works by U2, Van Morrison, and Sinead O'Connor alongside numerous other artists from various musical genres.

The venue was established in 1999 in partnership with Hot Press magazine. It closed in 2001 due to financial difficulties, after which the building was later converted into a different entertainment space.

The collection showcased Irish musicians and their contributions to rock music. Visitors could see instruments and personal items from artists like Rory Gallagher, Bob Geldof, and The Cranberries while learning about their careers.

The location sat on Middle Abbey Street in the city center and was easily accessible on foot or by public transport. Parts of the collection were later moved to the Irish Rock 'n' Roll Museum Experience in Temple Bar, where interested visitors can still see portions of the original exhibition today.

The project was among the first museums on the island dedicated entirely to documenting rock music. The collection focused on local legends and demonstrated how significant the Irish music scene was for global rock's development.
