St John Eye Hospital Group

The hospital contains specialized departments for retinal care, corneal treatments, pediatric services, and operates multiple theaters for eye surgeries in East Jerusalem.

The institution began its medical mission in 1882 on Bethlehem Road, and relocated to Sheikh Jarrah in 1960 after the original building sustained damage.

The facility maintains a 49-bed capacity, holds ISO certification, and delivers treatment through both scheduled appointments and a 24-hour emergency department.

The hospital extends its reach through mobile teams that travel weekly across the West Bank, serving between 8,000 and 10,000 patients annually.
