Sultan's Pool, Ancient reservoir in Jerusalem, Israel.

The Sultan's Pool consists of a large water basin situated near Mount Zion, featuring stone walls that contain the accumulated water from rainfall.

During the 16th century, Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent ordered renovations to enhance the water storage capacity of this ancient reservoir system.

The reservoir transforms into an open-air performance venue during summer months, hosting concerts and cultural festivals for local residents and visitors.

The site remains accessible throughout the year, with guided tours available that explain the water management systems of ancient Jerusalem.

Archaeological excavations near the reservoir uncovered sections of the Lower Aqueduct that supplied water to Jerusalem for many centuries.
