Egged Museum

The Egged Museum displays more than 80 restored buses manufactured between 1940 and the present day, documenting the evolution of public transportation in Israel.

The museum chronicles the transformation from British Army surplus trucks converted into passenger vehicles after World War I to modern transportation systems.

The exhibits present photographs, documents, and artifacts that demonstrate how public transportation contributed to connecting Israeli communities and shaping society.

Visitors can access the museum on Fridays from 8:00 to 12:00, while Sunday through Thursday visits require advance reservations at 03-9142361.

The collection includes a specialized bus that was transformed into a mobile hospital, demonstrating adaptive vehicle modifications for emergency services.
