Janjgir–Champa district, Administrative district in Chhattisgarh, India.
The district spreads across the central region of Chhattisgarh state, with borders touching Sakti, Korba, Bilaspur, and Baloda Bazar districts.
Established in 1998, the district takes its name from Maharaja Jajawalya Dev of the Kalachuri dynasty and Raja Veer Bahadur's horse Champak.
The Vishnu Mandir temple stands as a representation of Vaishnav traditions, while Shivarinarayan marks the location of sage Shabari's ancient ashram.
The district connects to major cities through the Howrah-Mumbai railway line, with stations at Champa, Janjgir-Naila, and Akaltara.
