Shree Dev Vyadeshar

Shree Dev Vyadeshar is a Hindu temple in Guhagar dedicated to Lord Shiva, built in the Panchayatan architectural style with a central sanctuary. Four smaller shrines are positioned around the main temple structure, creating a unified sacred complex.

This temple was built during the reign of King Sakuran in the 1st century and has maintained continuous worship for approximately 2000 years. Its long history reflects the enduring spiritual traditions of the region across many generations.

This shrine serves as a family temple for many Chitpavan households in the Konkan region, maintaining their ancestral spiritual connections. Visitors can observe how people continue these personal family traditions within its spaces.
