Madrisa, Mountain summit in Rätikon range, Austria.
The Madrisa summit rises to 2826 meters above sea level, offering panoramic views of the surrounding Austrian Alps and Swiss border region.
The mountain has marked the natural border between Austria and Switzerland since 1862, when official boundary treaties were established between the nations.
Local mountain guides share traditional knowledge of Alpine navigation and weather patterns through generations of experience climbing Madrisa's slopes.
Visitors can reach the summit through marked hiking trails from June to September, with the ascent taking approximately four hours from the base.
The summit contains rare Alpine plants that grow only above 2500 meters, including specialized species adapted to the extreme mountain conditions.
