Chalet Eugenia

Chalet Eugenia is an Alpine residence in Klosters spanning about 1,400 square meters, with oak-beamed ceilings, multiple balconies and terraces overlooking the Gotschna peaks of the Swiss Alps. The house contains ten bedrooms with private bathrooms, a heated indoor pool, a wellness center, and underground parking for eight vehicles.

The residence was built in 1958 by Baroness Thyssen-Bornemisza and later belonged to the Bentinck family until 2012, when Swiss businessman Rolf Theiler purchased it. This sequence of owners reflects the property's ongoing importance as a private retreat in the Swiss mountains.

Inside, you find sculptures by Swiss artist Christian Bolt, including a striking piece with four silver horses at the entrance. These artworks shape the character of the house and show its connection to the local art community.

Keep in mind that this is a private residence, so visits are typically not open to the public. The location in Klosters makes it easy to access nearby mountain trails and outdoor activities throughout the surrounding Alpine region.

The original stone kitchen features a wood-fired oven that connects to an oak-paneled dining room through a striking stone fireplace with pillars and log storage. This arrangement preserves the traditional kitchen design from the original construction.
