Rofanseilbahn, Aerial lift in Eben am Achensee, Austria
The Rofanseilbahn cable car system transports visitors from the valley station at 931 meters to the mountain station at 1,840 meters in five minutes.
The cable car facility has been connecting the Achensee region with the Rofan mountains since its construction, making alpine activities accessible to the public.
The mountain station provides direct access to traditional Tyrolean mountain huts, including the Erfurter Hütte, where visitors experience local Alpine customs and cuisine.
The cable car operates from May 1st to October 26th, with extended hours during peak season from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM and regular hours from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
The AIRROFAN Skyglider at the mountain station allows guests to experience a controlled descent toward Mauritzalm at speeds reaching 80 kilometers per hour.
