Spieljoch

Spieljoch is a peak in the Brandenberg Alps that rises to approximately 2,200 meters above sea level. The slopes feature steep rocky sections alternating with meadows that shift in appearance throughout the seasons.

Spieljoch formed through the geological processes that shaped the Alps millions of years ago. The area has been shaped by centuries of use by herders and mountaineers who traversed these heights.

Local mountain guides share their knowledge of Alpine traditions while leading visitors through designated paths across Spieljoch's varied terrain throughout the year.

Marked trails lead from Eben am Achensee toward the summit with varying difficulty levels for different skill levels. Mountain huts are located along the route and serve as stopping points for rest and refreshment.

The summit offers views extending from the Bavarian Prealps in the north to the Kitzbühel Alps in the south, encompassing multiple Alpine ranges.
