Bowmanville

Bowmanville is a town in Clarington located about 75 kilometers (47 miles) east of Toronto, stretching along Highway 2 through Durham Region. The place combines residential areas and commercial zones while serving as the administrative center for the municipality's residents.

The town was founded in 1858 and grew around water mills on Barber's Creek, where early settlers built trading posts and industrial facilities. This industrial foundation shaped its development for many generations.
