Chilliwack Cultural Centre, Performance arts center in Chilliwack, Canada
The Chilliwack Cultural Centre features two performance theatres, art galleries, twenty-one music studios, and four arts and craft studios spread across multiple floors.
Built in 2010 with an investment of 22 million dollars, the center opened its doors with a concert featuring performers Lisa Howard, Jason Graae, David Burnham, and Jessica Hendy.
The center operates on Stó:lō Coast Salish People territory, providing spaces for theatrical performances, music instruction, arts exhibitions, and community gatherings throughout the year.
Located in downtown Chilliwack next to recreational facilities, the main theatre accommodates 575 seats while the recital hall provides space for 150 attendees.
The facility includes specialized areas such as pottery studios, photography labs, and jewelry-making workshops, managed by the Chilliwack Arts & Cultural Centre Society Board.
