Keschhütte, Mountain hut in Grisons, Switzerland.
Keschhütte sits at 2,625 meters in the Albula Range directly below Piz Kesch and overlooks the surrounding peaks and valleys. The lodge provides sleeping quarters and food service for mountain travelers and climbers.
The Swiss Alpine Club established this refuge in 1893 to support mountaineers exploring high routes through the Grisons peaks. It has remained a key stopping point for mountain travelers since its founding.
The hut displays typical Alpine architecture with wooden elements and traditional design that reflects mountain living. Guests experience local food culture through regional dishes made from ingredients sourced nearby.
Bring your own sleeping bag and towels since the hut does not provide these items. Advance reservations by email or phone are recommended, especially during summer season and ski touring periods.
Its position between Davos and Albulapass creates access to multiple climbing and trekking routes of varying difficulty. Military training activities in the area occasionally affect access, so checking ahead is wise.
