Zerzabelshof, Residential district in Nuremberg, Germany
Zerzabelshof is a residential district in Nuremberg that combines apartment buildings with green spaces throughout the area. The neighborhood sits between Dutzendteich lake to the southwest and Mögeldorf to the north.
The area first appears in records from 1309 as part of the Lorenzer Imperial Forest administration. The name comes from early forest officials who worked in this region.
The Academy of Fine Arts brings artistic activity to the neighborhood through teaching and creative projects. Regular student exhibitions and works shape how the district looks and feels to visitors.
The district connects to central Nuremberg through public transportation including trams and buses. Schools, parks, and shops are within easy reach and well distributed throughout the area.
The soccer club 1. FC Nürnberg has been based here since 1913 and shaped the district's identity. The club won multiple German championships while playing on their original grounds in this area.
