Mühldorf am Inn

Mühldorf am Inn is a district capital in Upper Bavaria that stretches along the riverbank with gentle hills rising in the background. The old town sits on a slight elevation above the water, while newer residential areas spread into the surrounding terrain.

In 1322, a battle between Bavarian and Austrian forces took place here, reshaping regional power structures for centuries. Later, the town developed into a railway junction, which accelerated its economic growth during the industrial period.
