The museum presents collections of Stone Age pile dwellings, Celtic burial mounds, Roman urban life artifacts, and Alemannic noble grave goods.
Located at Benediktinerplatz 5, the museum opens Tuesday through Sunday from 10:00 to 18:00, with adult admission at 6 euros and free entry for visitors under 17.
The museum exhibits a sixth-century lyre from the Trossingen grave, representing the most complete early medieval musical instrument found in Europe.
