Herosé-Park, Public park in Petershausen district of Constance, Germany
Herosé Park is a public recreational area in Constance's Petershausen district that stretches along the Rhine River between Am Rheinufer street and Reichenaustrasse. The grounds feature walking paths, open lawns, and multiple spots where visitors can access the riverbank for swimming or simply enjoying the water.
The grounds were part of the Herosé textile factory until 2000, when the industrial site was converted into a public park. This transformation opened an industrial area back to the community for recreation.
The Rheinburg Villa, located at the eastern end of the park, represents the industrial heritage of the 19th-century textile manufacturing period.
A main bicycle and pedestrian path runs through the park, connecting Constance's old town with areas north of the Rhine in a straight and easy route. The path is clearly marked and well-maintained, making navigation simple.
The park features an artificial stream fed by artesian wells, creating a water element that flows independently from the Rhine. Alongside this, there are grilling areas and multiple swim spots directly on the river.
