Burg Waldenstein, Medieval castle in Rudersberg, Germany.
The stone fortress rises above the Wieslauftal valley at 390 meters elevation, featuring walls that measure three meters in thickness.
Built before 1251, the castle belonged to Count Ulrich I of Württemberg in the 13th century before transferring to Rudersberg community in 1792.
The castle maintains a regular schedule of theater performances, music concerts, and festivals throughout the year in its grand knights' hall.
Visitors can stay overnight in single or double rooms at the hotel, which includes a restaurant serving regional dishes without artificial additives.
The castle gardens contain vending machines providing snacks and beverages, allowing guests to enjoy refreshments while viewing the Welzheimer Forest.
