St. Laurentius

St. Laurentius church features a western facade with two towers, a large rose window in the gable, and three portal arches in sandstone construction.

The first documented mention of a church in Langförden dates to 890, with the current building constructed between 1910 and 1912 following Ludwig Becker's plans.

The church maintains its original baptismal font from 1000 CE and displays stained glass windows depicting biblical scenes and saints throughout the interior.

The church contains a Kreienbrink organ from 1981 with 30 registers across two manuals and pedals, renovated in 2006 and modernized in 2020.

The bell tower of the previous church, constructed from glacial erratics, remains standing as a memorial for war casualties.
