Gervinuspark

Gervinuspark extends across five hectares of land, featuring multiple play areas, sports facilities, and numerous established trees throughout its grounds.

The land transformed from its original purpose as Westfriedhof cemetery, established in 1874, into a public park named after historian Georg Gottfried Gervinus in 1960.

Several historical tombstones and the Kerckhoff family vault remain within the park grounds, preserving connections to the local community's past.

Three distinct play zones accommodate different age groups, with a water playground, climbing structures, basketball court, and table tennis facilities available for visitors.

The water court incorporates a pump system where children control water flow down a rocky cliff, merging with an integrated sand play area.
