Krupp-Hauptverwaltung, Industrial headquarters in Essen, Germany
The Krupp administrative building features a distinctive architectural design with multiple floors and preserved office spaces spanning 13,000 square meters.
Built in 1939, the structure functioned as the administrative center for artillery construction during World War II and remained under ThyssenKrupp ownership until 2022.
The building represents the industrial legacy of the Ruhr region, reflecting the economic transformation of Essen from a steel manufacturing center.
The structure maintains one of the few operational paternoster elevators in Essen and will house the Office for Social Affairs from 2025.
The office of Berthold Beitz, the last general representative, and the original vault remain preserved in their authentic condition.
