Haus der Gerichte, Judicial complex in St. Georg, Hamburg, Germany.
The Haus der Gerichte is a modern judicial complex located at the intersection of Berliner Tor and Lübeckertordamm, housing multiple courts within its structure. The building brings together different legal functions in one location, serving as a central point for court matters in the city.
The building opened in 2003 as a second judicial center alongside the Hamburg Justice Forum. It was established under Justice Senator Roger Kusch and marks a shift in how Hamburg organized its court facilities.
This judicial facility employs over 350 legal professionals and represents the evolution of Hamburg's legal system through its architectural design.
The complex is near Lohmühlenstraße subway station and shares an underground parking facility with the adjacent Novotel Suites Hotel. Visitors will find convenient parking and good public transportation access for reaching the building.
The building houses specialized courts under one roof, including the Administrative Court, Financial Court, and Medical Professions Tribunal. This arrangement allows visitors to handle different types of legal matters in a single location.
