Lower Bavarian Open-Air Museums

Comfortable shoes are recommended since the grounds encourage walking between buildings across open spaces. Plan extra time for rest stops, as the walk through the site is extensive with limited seating available.

The Freilinger Häusl is a farmhouse that remains in its original condition, showing how typical dwellings in this area actually looked. Its unaltered layout and original furnishings make it a rare example of authentic rural architecture.
