Vogelpark Biebesheim, Bird park in Biebesheim am Rhein, Germany.
Vogelpark Biebesheim was a large facility covering approximately 25,000 square meters with numerous aviaries and open areas for birds. The grounds featured multiple viewing points and pathways where visitors could watch animals in their designated spaces.
The facility was founded in 1973 and quickly became a center for stork rescue and reintroduction. From 1981 onward, it played a key role in white stork reestablishment programs before closing in 2014.
The site served as a sanctuary for birds seized by authorities and injured animals needing care. Visitors could observe staff working to help creatures that could not survive in the wild.
The park was easily accessed on foot with wide pathways suitable for visitors of all ages. Early morning was the best time to watch birds, when animals were most active.
The site housed one of Europe's largest connected stork colonies with about 90 nests. This concentration made it an important location for watching stork behavior and breeding patterns.
