Palladium, Concert venue in Mülheim, Germany.
Palladium is a concert hall in Cologne-Mülheim, housed in a converted industrial building with space for about four thousand spectators. The rooms extend across several floors, allowing the audience to watch from different heights.
The former factory was converted into a venue in the late nineties and opened as a stage for larger concerts. Since then, the hall has drawn national and international artists to Mülheim.
The building takes its name from a Greek sanctuary and now welcomes bands from around the world who perform in this former factory space. Visitors experience a wide range of musical styles here, while the audience stands or moves across multiple levels.
Travel by train is possible, as a station is just a few minutes' walk away. Entry usually begins one hour before the concert starts, and the view is good from all areas.
The walls and ceilings of the building preserve many traces of its former industrial use, so pipes and steel beams remain visible during concerts. These elements were deliberately kept to make the history of the place visible.
