The Konzert Theater Coesfeld opened its doors in April 2007, establishing itself as one of the most technically advanced performing arts centers in Europe.
The non-profit Ernsting Stiftung Alter Hof Herding manages artistic programming, presenting concerts, music theatre, drama, ballet, and entertainment throughout the year.
The theatre includes customized wall and ceiling lamellae for optimal acoustics, while the stage adapts to different formats including frontal, arena, catwalk, or studio configurations.
The auditorium design excludes right angles completely, creating specialized acoustic properties that enhance sound quality during performances.
