Frederiksberg Courthouse

The Frederiksberg Courthouse spans 5,500 square meters with a facade made of brick and tiles, featuring a curved design that integrates with the surrounding urban environment.

The original courthouse, designed by architect Hack Kampmann, was completed in 1921 as part of a complex that included a fire station and police station.

The building structure incorporates Danish architectural traditions through its pragmatic design approach, merging classical elements with contemporary functionalities.

The courthouse contains multiple courtrooms in the south wing, with separate circulation paths for staff, defendants, witnesses, and visitors to ensure efficient operations.

The western facade curves around a preserved row of old trees, while a glass footbridge connects the building to the adjacent neo-classical courthouse.
