Aksel Møllers Have, Public park in Frederiksberg Municipality, Denmark
Aksel Møllers Have is a public park in Frederiksberg nestled among residential buildings with walking paths and open green spaces. The grounds provide areas for strolling and sitting within the surrounding urban setting.
The site previously held the Classen Terraces from 1866 to 1880, a housing development for workers built by the Classenske Fideicommis foundation. The park was established after these structures were removed.
The park was named in 1965 after Aksel Møller, a mayor of Frederiksberg whose leadership influenced the city's development. Residents use it today as a gathering place that breaks up the surrounding residential blocks.
The park is accessible via the nearby metro station, making public transportation convenient. Bicycle parking for around 350 bikes is available, including underground storage for protection from the elements.
A granite sculpture by artist Søren Georg Jensen has stood near Godthåbsvej since 1977, marking the entrance area. Created in 1972, this artwork is a quiet detail that many visitors pass by without noticing.
