Grenaa Beach

Grenaa Beach is a sandy shoreline on the eastern coast of Jutland in Norddjurs Municipality. The strand features direct access points along its length and is bordered by the marina to the north.

The beach received national recognition in 2006 when Danish tourism authorities included it among the country's finest coastal destinations. This official designation brought the location to broader public attention.

This beach draws swimmers and sunbathers from Scandinavia and Germany, who make it a central part of their summer visits to the region. Locals and visitors mix naturally along the shore, creating a social space that feels welcoming to everyone.

The shore is accessible via Katholm Strandvej, which provides several free parking areas with direct routes to the water. The location is open year-round, though the warmest swimming conditions are found during summer months.
