Jardin de la Police, Public park in Torupilli, Estonia
The Jardin de la Police spans across several blocks in central Tallinn, featuring walking paths, benches, fountains, and designated areas for various activities.
During the 19th century, the grounds served as vegetable gardens for military units under the Russian Empire before becoming city property in 1910.
The park underwent substantial changes in the 1950s, incorporating elements of post-war architecture with a structured network of pathways and recreational spaces.
Visitors can access multiple facilities including children's playgrounds, a skate park, ping-pong tables, and designated areas for dog walking.
The park contains 46 different species of woody plants, including horse chestnuts and ornamental apple trees, documented since autumn 2007.
