Pyramid of Unas, Pyramid in Egypt
The Pyramid of Unas is a smooth-sided pyramid built in the 24th century BC for Pharaoh Unas.
It was the last pyramid built in the Old Kingdom of Egypt.
The pyramid's interior walls are inscribed with the 'Pyramid Texts', the oldest known religious texts in the world.
Located in Saqqara, the pyramid is now partially ruined and not open to the public.
Unas' pyramid is unique for its burial chamber's star-decorated ceiling.
