Buried Pyramid, Step pyramid in Egypt
The Buried Pyramid is an early Egyptian, unfinished step pyramid.
Construction was abandoned after six out of seven steps were completed.
This pyramid more closely resembles the oldest true pyramids developed by Djoser's royal architect Imhotep.
The pyramid can be found in Saqqara, northwest of Pharaoh Djoser's Step Pyramid.
It's also referred to as the Pyramid of Sekhemkhet due to its location.
