Itsasmuseum Bilbao

Itsasmuseum Bilbao is a maritime museum located on a former shipyard site beside the Nervión River. The exhibitions span both indoor galleries and outdoor areas where historic vessels, equipment, and models are displayed.

The museum was built on the grounds of the historic Euskalduna shipyard, where vessels were constructed that shaped the harbor's story. Its opening in 2003 marked the transformation of an industrial site into a space dedicated to cultural memory.
