Cajasol Tower

Cajasol Tower is an office building in Seville's La Cartuja district with 37 floors above ground and 3 underground levels. The structure includes a five-star hotel, two four-story podium buildings, and creates commercial pedestrian areas at ground level.

Construction began in 2008 under architect César Pelli's direction and was completed in 2015. The project transformed the post-Expo 92 area into a modern business complex.

The tower sparked discussions in Seville between those embracing modern development and those concerned about its impact on the city's traditional character and UNESCO heritage sites. These conversations reflect how contemporary architecture is received in a city with deep historical roots.

The tower contains eight elevators for moving visitors and workers through the building. The site is most active on weekdays, so visiting during the week provides better access to commercial areas.

At approximately 180 meters tall, the structure ranks among the highest in Andalusia and visually dominates the area. The attached Eurostars Torre Sevilla hotel makes the location an anchor point for business travelers and tourists in the neighborhood.
