Iglesia de San Bartolomé

The Iglesia de San Bartolomé is a Baroque church located in central Murcia featuring a Latin cross plan and a single main nave. The structure includes a barrel-vaulted ceiling and two side transepts that end in semicircular apses.

Construction of the current structure began in 1767 and continued with interruptions over several decades before completion in the 1880s under architect Justo Millán. The extended building period reflects the financial and logistical challenges of large religious projects during this era.
