Jardín Botánico de Villa Marco

The garden spans 30,000 square meters and contains four distinct sections: Arab garden, historic garden, access garden, and Mediterranean garden with native plants.

Villa Marco estate originated as a defensive tower residence in the 19th century before French consul René Bardin transformed it with colonial influences.

Two sculptures by Alicante artist Vicente Bañuls, titled La Noche and La Marsellesa, stand among the garden paths and vegetation collections.

The University of Alicante and El Campello City Council manage the botanical garden, which serves as an educational center for research and conservation.

The garden features specific areas dedicated to rockeries, mixed forests, and local ecosystems in the lower Mediterranean section.
