Jardíns de Cap Roig, Botanical garden and historicist castle in Cap Roig, Spain.
The gardens stretch across 17 hectares on a rocky cliff, containing 1000 plant species and numerous sculptures along Mediterranean seaside paths.
Colonel Nikolai Voevodsky and Dorothy Webster established the gardens in 1927, building a medieval-style castle with materials from old Catalan houses.
The Cap Roig Festival transforms the gardens into an outdoor auditorium where international musicians perform throughout the summer season.
The garden entrance costs 7 euros for adults and 3 euros for reduced tickets, while children under 16, teachers, and students enter free.
Each section of the botanical collection bears its own name, including the Tea Place where the original owners gathered for afternoon refreshments.
