Birba Biscuits

The industrial facility produces eleven varieties of traditional biscuits using natural ingredients such as wheat flour, fresh eggs, butter, and almonds without preservatives.

The biscuit manufacturing facility, founded in 1893 by Llorenç Birba i Cordomí, remains a significant establishment in the food industry of Catalonia.

The production methods at Birba reflect traditional Catalan baking techniques, incorporating local ingredients and recipes that date back to the nineteenth century.

In May 2023, Adam Foods acquired the company, which employs 60 people and continues to operate independently while maintaining its production standards.

The facility manufactures specialized biscuit varieties including Bescuit, Russos, and Crema del Canigó, each containing specific proportions of chocolate, almonds, and coconut.
