Gasteizko Gaztetxea

The Gasteizko Gaztetxea occupies a building in the historic district where young people organize cultural activities, workshops, and social gatherings independently.

The center began operations on April 28, 1988, when local youth groups took over the building and started rehabilitation work to create a community space.

The venue regularly schedules concerts, art exhibitions, and educational workshops, managed entirely by the Youth Assembly through democratic decision-making processes.

Located in central Vitoria-Gasteiz, the center maintains regular programming of activities and remains open for youth participation through their assembly meetings.

The organization has maintained its independence and self-management structure for over three decades, despite multiple attempts to modify its operational model.
