Iglesia de Nuestra Señora del Valle, Gothic church in Villafranca de los Barros, Spain.
The church features three naves separated by thick pillars, with star-shaped ribbed vaults in the entrance atrium and side chapels.
Construction began in 1508, maintaining the original header while transforming the rest of the structure, with the main facade completed in 1574.
The church received the designation of Cultural Heritage Site in September 2014, belonging to the Diocese of Mérida-Badajoz and Villafranca archpriesthood.
The building contains different types of vaults that demonstrate the various construction phases, from Gothic to Renaissance and Neo-Gothic styles.
The 16th-century baptismal font displays figured relief decoration with inscriptions, representing exceptional artistic craftsmanship for its period.
