The structure received recognition as a Heritage of Cultural Interest, representing the military architectural traditions of 16th-century Spanish coastal settlements.
Visitors can reach the watchtower through a marked hiking trail that connects to the main road, offering both historical exploration and outdoor recreation opportunities.
The tower complex includes two separate barracks built in different centuries: one served as living quarters for watchmen, while the other functioned as a stable.
