Playa del Torres

Playa del Torres is a sandy beach on the Mediterranean coast in La Vila Joiosa, stretching for several hundred meters along the shoreline. The beach features a comfortable width and is framed by rocky outcrops and pine forests that provide natural boundaries.

The beach is located near the Sant Josep Tower, an ancient Roman monument built as a funerary structure. This tower ranks among the most complete examples of its kind on the Iberian Peninsula.

The beach remains connected to the fishing traditions of La Vila Joiosa, visible in the restaurants and daily rhythms of people working on the water. Locals use the area to maintain their relationship with the sea and share what they catch with visitors.

The beach offers showers, sunbeds, and umbrellas along with a beachfront promenade and nearby parking. Most facilities are easy to find and well-marked for visitor convenience.

The beach is surrounded by fig, olive, and eucalyptus trees that create natural shaded spots. This Mediterranean vegetation frames the sand and provides a leafy backdrop you will not find on most nearby beaches.
