El Torres

El Torres is a Mediterranean beach stretching 560 meters along the Costa Blanca coast, combining sandy and gravelly surfaces. A green promenade runs alongside, separating the shoreline from the urban area beyond.

The area has been inhabited since ancient times, evidenced by the Sant Josep Tower, a Roman funerary monument standing nearby. This structure reflects the maritime importance of this coastline throughout history.

Fishermen continue to work along this coastline using methods passed down through generations, keeping maritime traditions alive in the community. Their daily presence shapes the local character and connects the present to the region's seafaring past.

The beach offers showers, waste bins, sun lounger rentals, and parking for about 100 vehicles nearby. It is best visited in early morning when parking is readily available and the area is less crowded.

Olive, fig, and eucalyptus trees line the promenade, creating a natural boundary between the beach and the town. These trees provide shade and mark distinct environmental zones along the shoreline.
