The Seinäjoki City Theatre features four distinct stages, including the main Alvar Hall with 429 seats and three smaller performance spaces for varied productions.
Finnish architect Alvar Aalto designed the theatre in 1968, and construction was completed in 1987 under the supervision of Elissa Aalto.
The theatre presents approximately 250 performances annually, combining local productions with guest shows to serve the regional arts community.
The box office operates Tuesday through Friday from 12 PM to 5 PM, remaining open until performance start time on show evenings.
The theatre's facade incorporates dim white ceramic blocks, while the interior displays Aalto's collection of bent wood reliefs and Artek furnishings.
